What do I need to do to keep my space clean?
❋ Wipe down your spaceAfter every use, wipe down your wheel/catch tray and tools with your sponge. Clay buildup can prevent your wheel from functioning properly!
❋ Keep all clay scraps in your bucketAll clean clay can be recycled. Even clay-muddied water can go in the bucket! Keep the lid on the bucket to keep the clay clean.
❋ Properly store your clayClay dries out quickly! Keep your clay in the original bag and seal the bag as much as you can with the twisty tie.
❋ Clean environmentKeep pets and foot away from your set up. Clay can’t be recycled if there are hairs or crumbs in it!
❋ Minimize clay dust Breathing in clay dust can be a severe safety hazard. Regularly wipe up surfaces and clean off any tarps or protective floor material you may be using. Wet-wipe surfaces rather than sweeping or vacuuming if possible.
❋ Protect your clothes and homeClay can stain! Wear an apron and clothes that you ok with staining. If you’re throwing inside, protect your floors with tarps and beware of spattering on your walls.
