We’re just a couple that found a way to do what we love, together.

Before we met, we both looked into pottery options in Denver and gave up after realizing how unaffordable and inaccessible pottery is.

Together, we decided to come up with a solution. We bought a wheel and started throwing in Daniel’s garage, and we realized it doesn’t need to be this complicated.

Sonia’s story

I got into pottery in 2018 by taking cheap lessons from a German woman who taught me everything I know (and made me center 75 times before she’d let me throw.) She taught me how to handbuild, how to throw, how to recycle clay, how to fire, how to glaze, and how to keep my space clean. I became addicted to the rhythm of pottery and spent every free minute in the studio.

Then I went off to college, and enrolled in a pottery class so I’d have access to the studio. I spent a semester creating a set of dishes on my free time.

Then I graduated, and had no idea how much I’d taken for granted free studio spaces and cheap lessons. I had moved to Dallas and called every studio I could find (which wasn’t many) and couldn’t afford anything. I gave up.

Then I moved to Denver, same sitch. Then I met Daniel, and he helped me bring back one of my favorite parts of life.

Daniel’s story

I got into pottery in 2025 when I met Sonia! She was an incredible teacher and I trusted she knew everything there was about pottery. The lessons I got from her (for free, thank you) were a really great introduction to pottery. I had been looking to get into pottery by taking lessons at one of the various studios in Denver, but I found that they would sell out instantly.

Luckily for me, Sonia was able to teach me how to throw in my garage on a very small and cheap wheel we had picked up. While this was a great temporary solution, as my interest and skills in pottery grew, I knew I needed to have a better set up. I tried looking into studio memberships and found them to be inconvenient and very pricey. So I had an idea that I would have loved when I was on the search to continue my pottery journey. A pottery wheel rental! I figured that there must be others like me who have this interest but want more flexibility with when and where they could throw. This was the inspiration behind our business and we hope we are able to help you explore your own pottery journey.
